Pies & Sausage Rolls

There are many varieties of meat pie, including British meat pies, French-Canadian meat pies, and the Australia and NZ meat pie. An Irish meat pie is filled with steak and Guinness. Nigerian meat pies can be baked or fried, and the filling can be almost anything from corned beef to just onions and tomatoes. In the Middle East, meat pies are called sfiha and contain ground beef, olive oil, plain yogurt, tahini, allspice, onion, tomatoes and pine nuts. Meat pies in Greece are known as kreatopita, containing ground beef, onions and feta cheese.
