Everything you need to know about booking a food truck for your next event. Can't find your answer? Call us or send an enquiry and we'll get back to you promptly.
Booking is simple. The fastest way is to submit an enquiry via our website or call us directly. Provide as much detail as you can — event date, location, guest numbers, cuisine preference and type of event — and we'll get back to you promptly with options and a quote.
Once your truck is confirmed, we'll issue a booking confirmation and contract along with deposit payment details. Don't worry if you don't have all the details yet — just get in touch and we'll guide you through the process.
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred cuisine and date. For larger events, weddings or peak periods like Christmas and school holidays, 6–8 weeks is ideal. That said, we'll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests — just get in touch.
Absolutely. Just share a few key details — the type of event, your guest numbers, location, age group and budget — and our team will recommend the most suitable options from our network of trusted operators. Our goal is to make the process simple and stress-free.
Some of our operators only cater for private events, so it's not always possible to see them in action beforehand. However, we'll always provide photos of the trucks, sample menus, pricing and customer reviews during the booking process. Our team can also recommend trucks that regularly appear at public events where you may be able to see them in person.
Pricing is generally charged per person, depending on the cuisine and menu selected. Each truck has its own menu and pricing structure, and we'll provide a clear, itemised quote once we know your event details.
Most trucks also have a minimum spend requirement to cover food, staff and service costs — this will always be confirmed upfront so there are no surprises. Weekdays (Monday–Thursday) are generally more cost-effective than weekends.
Yes. Most food trucks have a minimum spend to cover food, staff and service costs. The amount varies depending on the cuisine type, day of the week, event size and service duration. We'll always be transparent and upfront about the minimum spend in your quote.
We require a 30% deposit to secure your booking. Payments can be made via direct debit, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or Amex. If you need an alternative arrangement, just let us know — we're flexible.
The remaining balance is payable 7 days before your event, once final numbers and menus have been locked in.
Yes — weekdays (Monday to Thursday) are generally more cost-effective than weekends. If you're flexible with timing, booking midweek can help you save while still delivering the same great catering experience.
On average, our food trucks provide a 2–3 hour service window, which is ideal for most events. If your event requires a longer service period, we can arrange this in advance — just let us know your requirements and we'll confirm availability and any additional costs.
On average, a standard food truck requires approximately the same footprint as two car parking spaces, plus safe clearance to park and operate. Trucks require access to a flat surface — slight slopes are usually fine, but we'll confirm this during booking.
If your venue has limited space, we can offer alternative setups such as trailers, carts or marquees, which provide the same high-quality catering experience in a more compact footprint.
Our food trucks are designed to operate efficiently and with minimal disruption. Most trucks use generators or can connect to external power where available. If noise is a concern at your venue, let us know in advance and we'll find the best solution.
Most food trucks are fully self-contained and can continue to operate in wet weather without issue. For outdoor events, we can arrange marquees or covered setups as a backup. In the unlikely event of extreme weather where service cannot go ahead, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide an alternative solution.
Absolutely. Many of our operators can provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and dairy-free options. Simply let us know your requirements in advance so we can match you with the right food truck.
Please note: while our operators take every precaution to minimise cross-contamination, kitchens are not 100% allergen-free. If you have severe allergies such as coeliac disease, please discuss this with us before booking so we can advise accordingly.
Yes — we can arrange an all-you-can-eat style menu for your event. Conditions typically include a set service time window, minimum guest numbers and per-person pricing. Contact us directly and we'll walk you through the details and confirm which trucks can accommodate this.

Absolutely. Many corporate clients book multiple food trucks with different cuisines to give their guests more variety. We also offer multi-cuisine trucks — a single truck that serves more than one cuisine — which is a great cost-effective option for medium-sized events.
